Destination: Marrakech, Morocco
Interesting website for the city: VisitMorocco.com

Is it easy to navigate around? Not easy. It is a large sprawling city so you will rely on taxi's. Within the popular medina where tourists flock is a maze of pedestrian streets and this will test the best of travelers. 0

Hostels and Hotels (few, many, tons): Heaps of both. This also includes Riads, a large home, often with many rooms that has a beautiful courtyard in the middle. 2

Best part of the city? The setting of the city is exotic.  Orange hues, palm trees, donkeys, hooded locals, snakes and monkeys working together to get your photograph (and money), perfect blue skies and an African sunset onto the mountain ranges.

Interesting Fact: The medina, like others in Morocco is actually used by locals for locals.  So whilst there are plenty of tourist shops, you still can really get an insight on how the locals lived hundreds of years ago.

Is it a good travel destination for young adventures? Totally, this is also a gateway to the grand Sahara desert. 2

Climate: Mostly hot.  A brilliant winter escape for Europeans but you don't want to be here in summer.

Would you live there forever? For BilbyandBear a no - but it depends on the individual - it seems a bit hectic for most.

Any funny experiences whilst you were there? Funny, but then annoying. Locals constantly asking where you're from, then with their limited English trying to invite you into their shop or restaurant.  Its as if that is their only ploy!
